My passion for the Performing Arts began to blossom when I started taking guitar lessons in the fourth grade. This eventually evolved into me learning different instruments, including vocals until seventh grade when I made the change to bass. Around this time, I also started taking Theatre classes. By eighth grade I was doing Musical Theatre and decided I wanted to continue Theatre studies in high school! I'm lucky enough to go to a school that is rich in the arts so I am also continuing to pursue my education in Instrumental Music as well. In addition to Theatre, I am taking classes in Jazz Studies and a member of the elite Jazz Ensemble. I also play with Combo groups as requested and have formed a band outside of school with other students. At the end of my freshman year, I was promoted to Assistant Costumer Designer in my Theatre program and by sophomore year was promoted to Head Costume Designer. After a successful audition, I was also accepted into the Advanced Dance Team! Quickly I also acquired the role of Co-Costume Manager and accepted a position in the NHSDA (National Honor Society Dance Association). Unfortunately, I had to make a tough choice this year and had to withdraw from my jazz class in order to accommodate other curriculum. I am lucky to keep in touch with the Music Director and my band mates and they have welcomed me to play in their concerts. 

I plan on maintaining arts classes for the rest of my high school year.
